MATCHBOOK ROMANCE LOSE GUITARIST
Epitaph band (and former AP cover stars) Matchbook Romance have announced that guitarist Ryan "Judas" DePaolo has left the band for the second time since the group's formation -- this time for good. The band's statement is below:Matchbook Romance is currently set to head the Epitaph tour, hopefully they are able to find a new guitarist in time. The only song I dig by this band is "Monsters," the music is epic.
"Sadly, the first thing we have to report is that Ryan Judas DePaolo, will be leaving Matchbook Romance. Its unfortunate, but it gives Ryan DePaolo the chance to chase down other dreams and aspirations that he has personally. Everyone at MRHQ wishes him the best."
DePaolo's final performance with the band will be Dec. 22 at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York, with Men Women & Children and the Sleeping opening. [AP]
